Westfield continues work with INDOT
Full Description:
Westfield is working with the state to make sure two major corridors can support increased traffic from new homes and businesses.
Indiana Department of Transportation and town officials plan to speak regularly as new development moves in along Indiana 32 and U.S. 31 through town.
New homes and businesses bring a need for expanded lanes, passing blisters, signs, signals, medians and other projects to accommodate increased traffic.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has a liaison who speaks with town officials at least bi-weekly, if not every week, Town Manager Bruce Hauk said.
